Theme preference (local storage, essential). Remembers whether you last chose light or dark mode. Stays on your device; we never see this value.

Chat conversation token (local storage, essential). If you message us through the chat widget, a random token is saved in your browser so the same conversation is there if you come back. It isn't a tracking identifier shared with anyone else — it only unlocks your own thread.

Cookie notice acknowledgement (local storage, essential). Remembers that you've seen the cookie banner, so it doesn't reappear on every page.

None of the above are used for advertising or shared with third parties, and none require consent under most cookie laws since they're necessary for the feature you're using.

Advertising cookies (once Google AdSense is live)

This Site may show adverts served through Google AdSense. When it does, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites, and to measure how ads perform. Analytics cookies

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking essential cookies may mean the chat widget forgets your conversation or the theme toggle stops sticking between visits — the rest of the Site will still work.

Changes to this policy

If the cookies we use change — most likely when Google AdSense or an analytics tool goes live — we'll update this page and its effective date.
